Our client has been on a rapid growth trajectory and part of their growth strategy is to start to expand into new categories that will deliver growth in both the short and longer term. One of these categories is Bedding Manchester which presents a significant growth opportunity for their business across their Retail, Commercial and Export channels.

The position is paying $95K-$110k + super

Key Objectives include:

• Develop and implement the category strategy to drive long term sustainable growth opportunities across Manchester which includes mattress covers, fitted sheets, pillows/pillowcases, topper beds quilts.

• Develop 3-year category road map plans, articulating the current and future range architectures for all new products with the designated categories.

• Owns and implements the sales strategy for the category to achieve Revenue & GP% targets.

• Builds and manages the end to end go to market strategy for all new products.

• Leads and conducts collaborative range reviews with Manchester buyers, providing detailed category performance metrics, growth opportunities along with comprehensive range & SKU optimisation recommendations that deliver on these growth objectives.

• Working closely with all internal execution teams to ensure all touchpoints in market are driving an optical outcome and clear consumer messaging.

• Conducts and provides Market analysis and translates category insights into growth opportunities.

• Support Sales Teams to deliver key customer outcomes with a strong focus on collaborative development. 

You must have 3 years Category management experience.

Experience work with major retailers in Australia, preferably within the Manchester category.
