High Reach Forklift Driver - Warehouse AM Shift

MTC Recruitment is currently working with a reputable dairy supplies company based in Greenacre. They are currently seeking experienced High Reach Forklift Drivers to join their expanding team.

Hours of Work: AM Shift – Monday to Friday 5am starts with potential overtime

Salary: $34.00 per hour + potential overtime

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a high reach forklift in cold storage areas (as low as -2 degrees)
• Load and unload pallets from trucks and shelves in cold storage
• Pick and stage inventory for shipment, ensuring proper handling of temperature-sensitive products.
• Maintain accurate inventory control within both the cold storage and general warehouse areas.
• Ensure all products are stored according to company safety and quality standards in both temperature-controlled and ambient environments.
• Keep work areas organized, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Follow safety protocols for working in cold storage, including wearing proper protective gear and maintaining forklift equipment.
• Assist in regular stock counts and reports.

Requirements:

• Valid LF Forklift licence with a minimum 6 months High Reach forklift experience
• Previous experience in cold storage environments preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 25kg)
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and compliance.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team setting and adapt to various shifts, including weekends if necessary.
