High Reach Forklift Driver - Warehouse AM Shift

MTC Recruitment is partnering with a reputable dairy supplies company based in Greenacre, and they are seeking experienced High Reach Forklift Drivers to join their expanding team.

Hours of Work: AM Shift – Monday to Friday, starting at 5am, with potential for overtime

Salary: $34.00 per hour + potential overtime

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a high reach forklift in cold storage environments (temperatures as low as -2°C)
• Load and unload pallets from trucks and shelves within cold storage areas
• Pick and stage inventory for shipment, ensuring the careful handling of temperature-sensitive goods
• Maintain accurate inventory records for both cold storage and general warehouse areas
• Ensure proper storage of products in compliance with company safety and quality standards across both temperature-controlled and ambient areas
• Keep workspaces organized, clean, and compliant with health and safety standards
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in cold storage, including wearing protective gear and maintaining forklift equipment
• Assist with regular stock counts and reporting

Requirements:

• Valid LF Forklift license with at least 6 months of high reach forklift experience
• Experience in cold storage environments is preferred but not essential
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25kg)
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and adherence to regulations
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and adapt to varying shifts, including weekends if required
