Machine Operator with Forklift Licence

MTC Recruitment is currently working with a leading manufacturing company based in Padstow. They are currently seeking experienced Machine Operators with a valid Forklift Licence to join their team.

As a Batching / Machine Operator, you will play a key role in the production process, ensuring high-quality products are created efficiently. The role involves working with raw materials, operating machinery, and maintaining safety and quality standards on the production line.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm

Pay Rate: $32.25 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to transport materials
• Weigh and combine raw materials into mixers to create products
• Operate production machinery and assist on the production line
• Support production staff with various tasks as needed
• Perform basic to intermediate quality testing
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed, particularly in handling dangerous goods
• Manual handling tasks, including regularly lifting up to 25kg

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a machine operator role in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Experience with basic quality testing and understanding of batch cards
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
• Valid LF Forklift Licence
• Unlimited Australian working rights
• Able to pass a police check
