Mechanical Fitter

Our client is one of the largest alternative waste/ recycling treatment plant located in Eastern Creek (off the M5) are looking for an experienced Trade Qualified Maintenance Fitter to join their team for an immediate start.

This role will be working on rotating shifts – 12 weeks D/S (6am to 2:30pm), 3 weeks A/N (2pm to 10:30pm) and 3 weeks N/S (10pm to 6:30am)

$62.50 p/h Temp-Perm pay + rotating shifts (allowance) + O/Time penalties where applicable in the weekdays. Not compulsory to work O/T on weekends though desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Fixing gear boxes

Repairing of bearings

Hydraulic and maintenance repairs

Fault find of machines

Working on conveyors and other machines within the recycling plant

Basic welding

Maintaining and servicing all electrical machines

About the candidate:

Holds an Australian recognised Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting

Demonstrated experience as a Mechanical Fitter

Strong attention to details

Have full Australian working rights

Able to work on rotating shifts
