Join Our Team as a Payroll Officer! (Onsite Position Only)

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about accuracy? We are looking for a skilled Payroll Officer to join our dynamic team, reporting directly to the Group HR Manager. This onsite position will be responsible for processing payroll for 1300+ employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance across a large organization. 5+ years of experience with Kronos and Micropay, as well as knowledge of regulatory payroll requirements, is required. The role also requires the ability to handle high-volume payroll inquiries efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for 1300+ employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Maintain and update employee records, including tax information, deductions, and benefits.
• Handle high-volume payroll inquiries from employees and resolve issues promptly with a high level of customer service.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax requirements, and internal payroll procedures.
• Prepare and submit tax filings, reports, and other payroll documentation.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
• Utilize Kronos and Micropay software to manage and process payroll data efficiently.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements related to payroll, including tax laws, superannuation, employee benefits, and reporting obligations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience processing payroll for a large workforce, with proficiency in Kronos and Micropay.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory payroll requirements (tax regulations, superannuation, employee benefits).
• Proven ability to handle high-volume payroll inquiries with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Must be able to work onsite — this is not a remote position.

Salary:

• Competitive salary range between $80,000 to $110,000 per year, plus superannuation.
