About the Role


We are seeking a proactive Salesforce Consultant to join our IT team in Marrickville. The aim of this role is to analyse, plan, build, test, implement and optimise MTC Australia’s applications, systems and business processes to ensure internal and external customer requirements are met.

Reporting to the Head of Applications, the key responsibilities of the IT Solutions Analyst will include:


  • Working closely with business stakeholders to assess new requirements or identify opportunities where technology can facilitate and support the business effectively.
  • Requirements analysis, solution design and hands-on implementation of business applications and platforms.
  • Implementing automation into existing business and system processes.
  • Designing and building systems/data integration flows using ETL techniques.
  • Providing business intelligence and data insights on business performance and strategic opportunities


About You

 

To be successful in this role you must have:


  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferably Business/IT related) and/or extensive experience as a business/systems/technical analyst with demonstrated experience working on large technology platform implementation and optimisation projects.
  • Experience working with a broad range of IT systems across both on-premises and cloud-based environments.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to forge effective partnerships with a wide range of key stakeholders and the ability to effectively present technical information to non-technical users.
  • Strong project and change management skills, with the ability to appropriately apply common project management tools (e.g. Jira, MS Project) and frameworks (including agile and waterfall).
  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector is highly desirable.


The technical experience we are looking for:


  • Backend configuration of data objects, fields, process flows and triggers within an enterprise CRM, Salesforce highly desired
  • Designing and implementing systems integration processes utilising ETL tools and API connectivity platforms (e.g. Talend, SSIS, MuleSoft).
  • Extensive experience working with SQL platforms (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL), including stored procedure development.
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence & Analytics platforms and technologies (e.g. Power BI, SSRS, Qlikview, Tableau).
