Assistant Accountant

Are you an experienced Assistant Accountant looking for the next step in your career? Key Responsibilities:

✅ Prepare and report monthly management accounts and P&L for group entities

✅ Maintain the fixed assets register, WIP tracking, and depreciation calculations

✅ Manage monthly intercompany invoicing and credit card reconciliations

✅ Provide detailed analysis of departmental P&Ls

✅ Assist in annual company audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies

✅ Work cross-functionally with internal teams to improve reporting and processes

✅ Support ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement projects

About You:

🔹 Relevant Accounting qualifications (Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar)

🔹 Minimum 2+ years experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar role

🔹 Strong understanding of P&L, reconciliations, and financial reporting

🔹 Experience with fixed asset management and intercompany transactions

🔹 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

🔹 Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, SAP, or similar)

🔹 A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to process improvement
